Website design that’s ready for AI search
Your next client may not search your name at all. In a Gartner survey of B2B buyers, published in 2026, 45% said they used generative AI during a recent purchase, mainly to research vendors and products. If an assistant can’t tell what you do, it’s more likely to recommend someone else.
Every site I build now starts with that plain answer: who you serve, what you do and where.

What you get is the work in your proposal, and numbers you can check.

Website design for small businesses that sell expertise
You’re a consultant or you lead an expert-led business, where clients buy what you know. Your next client might come from a referral, a search or an AI assistant, and every one of them checks you before they call.
Clients usually come to Cubilani at one of these moments:
- You’re launching something new.A program, a service line, a second brand. It needs a page that explains it and sells it.
- The site no longer matches the business. You’ve grown; the brand and the site haven’t.
- You don’t have a website yet, or a provider let you down.No site, an unfinished build, a site you can’t edit, an agency that stopped replying. The first thing you get is a fixed scope and a date.
Whichever it is, the next step is the same: a free 30-minute call, with or without a website.
Your brand and your website, planned together
The thinking behind your brand, the logo on your favicon, the colours in your email signature, the words on your site and the structure Google and AI assistants read have to fit together. No separate brand designer, copywriter, developer and SEO specialist to brief. You explain your business once.

Search and AI Visibility.A setup that improves your chances on Google and in AI answers, then a content plan and a review every quarter.
See how AI SEO services workEvery website project covers:
Planned around your clients
Who the site is for, what each page must do and the one next step it leads to, with one search phrase per page checked against real search data.
The words first, written to sell, in your voice
Every page written for the clients you want, home page first, in words that sound like you. You review the words in one pass before the design starts.
Designed to look established and convert
Custom web design that looks as established as your business is, built the way you want to work: you edit it yourself, or you ask and it’s done. Fast and mobile-friendly, and every page ends in one clear next step: a form or a booking link, never a dead end.
Set up for Google and AI from launch
Every key page says plainly who you work with, where and what you do, with an FAQ built from your buyers’ questions. Search Console and Analytics are switched on, your Google Business Profile (where your business qualifies) and one key directory profile match the site, and a dated launch record notes what Google and AI assistants say about you. A complete site adds the full Search and AI Visibility setup.
Connected to your tools
Every site includes a contact form; booking, email and your CRM are connected as named items in your proposal, so an enquiry lands where you already work.
Yours to run from launch day
A short session, a written guide and your identity block: the short and long descriptions of your business that your Google profile, directory listings and team’s AI tools can all repeat. 30 days of fixes are included, and the launch record gives you a dated starting point for any later review.
It starts with a free 30-minute call. A reply within one business day.
Five steps from the first call to launch
The build is fast; your reviews set the pace. Larger projects take longer, and your proposal gives the dates.

The 30-minute call.If you have a site, I look at it the way a new client sees it, and at what AI assistants say about your business; if you don’t, we talk through what your business needs. Either way, you leave knowing the next step.

The proposal.Within two business days: the scope, one fixed price and the dates, valid for 30 days. A deposit of half the price starts the work.

The intake and the call.A 15-minute guided form, then one call. You answer what you know and leave the rest to me. You now have a plan for every page.

The words, then the site. You review the copy in one pass, then the design and build. Two revision rounds are included. You approve the finished site before it goes live.

Launch and handover. The balance is paid on approval, the site goes live, and everything is yours. You get the handover session, the guide, your identity block, 30 days of fixes and a dated launch record, the starting point for any later review or content plan.

You work with me, from the first call to launch

I’m Lucas Cubillos Mialani, and creating is my calling. Web design is the one place where everything I know comes together: the business and marketing of my MBA, finished in 2019, and the design, photography and drawing I’ve always loved. Since 2020, it’s what I do for businesses.
Cubi + lani is where the name Cubilani comes from, in honour of my parents, both graphic designers, artists and creators I look up to. Making things is the gift they gave me, and I’m keeping it in the family.
Every website I make starts with the thinking: who you serve and why they should pick you. Then I write it, design it and build it myself, so every part says the same thing. The moment it all comes together is still my favourite part of the work.
I do it with people who are building something of their own. Bringing out the best version of your business online, and seeing it work for you, is why I love what I do.
I work remotely and move around. What stays fixed: I keep Eastern hours and adapt to yours, and you get a reply within one business day.
More about Lucas Cubillos Mialani and how I workQuestions about working with a web design studio
How much does a website cost?
Every website gets one fixed price in writing after a free 30-minute call, before any work starts. The price follows the number of pages, the features and the depth of the search work.
How long does it take?
Most website projects launch three to five weeks after the deposit. Larger sites take longer. For brand projects, your proposal gives the dates. The intake takes about 15 minutes, and “decide for me” is a valid answer to any question, so nothing waits on a long questionnaire.
Is a website still worth it now that people ask AI?
Yes, and its job has changed. People still check your site before they call, and AI assistants read it before they describe you. Both need the same plain answer: who you work with, where and what you do. The site is optimized to give that answer, and I record what assistants say about you on launch day, dated, so you know where you start.
Why a small web design studio and not an agency?
For a business your size, the work goes further when the strategy, the words, the design and the build follow one plan. Nothing gets lost between handoffs, the scope stays in proportion, and you have one point of contact from the first call to launch and after.
Is it worth paying for website design and SEO together?
If your clients look you up before they call, yes. A beautiful site nobody finds does half the job. So every website is set up for Google and AI assistants from launch. It’s the first step: what builds on it is useful content on a steady rhythm and a review every quarter, because search moves over months, not weeks. Google says some changes take several months to show. Done consistently, it keeps improving your chances of being found and recommended.
I don’t have a website yet. Where do I start?
The same place: a free 30-minute call. We talk through what your business offers, who you want to reach and what the site has to do. You get a fixed-price proposal within two business days, and small business website design can start as small as a single launch page. You don’t need everything at once: the rest can wait until it has a reason.
I’ve been burned by an agency before. What’s different?
A fixed price, a written scope and a project that ends. You have one point of contact from the first call to launch, with a reply within one business day. You own everything on final payment, and the first 30 days of fixes after launch are included.
Can’t I just build it myself with Wix, Squarespace or an AI tool?
You can, and for some businesses that’s enough. But a builder only gives you a design to fill in. You still decide what to say, write it for your clients and set it up for search. The tools also change every month, faster now with AI, and knowing which are worth it is a job in itself. That’s the part clients hand to me.
What happens after launch? Do I need an ongoing plan?
No. The project ends at launch, with 30 days of fixes included. Most clients come back as the business grows: a page for a new program, a booking system, a store, brand guidelines. Each piece is usually quoted at a fixed price before it starts. If search and AI answers matter to you, the best results come from a content plan for your blog and newsletter, then a review every quarter, each quarter quoted on its own so you can stop after any of them. A monthly care plan is there for sites I’ve built, if you want one.
